Gilt Cloisonne Teapot, China, 20th century, with domed cover with a decorative metal knob on the top, the pot is globular with the top half softly sunken to form a slightly concave shoulder, the whole surface decorated with various auspicious motifs including endless knots, lotuses, dragons, and double fish, the handle connected by two loose rings to the decorative double-lotus shape metal placers fixed onto both sides of the shoulder, the foot in the shape of a shallow bowl with straight foot separately made and attached, ht. 6 1/4 in.
