Diminutive Federal Mahogany and Tiger Maple Inlaid Sideboard, probably Massachusetts, c. 1800-10, the central hinged door centering inlaid carnations flanked by two short drawers and one drawer with a two-drawer facade, all with borders of stringing, crossbanding, and cockbeading, on conformingly inlaid square double-tapering legs, old brass pulls, refinished, (minor imperfections),ht. 39 1/2, wd. 47 3/4, dp. 22 in.
Provenance: Lloyd Cabot Briggs, then by family descent to the consignor.
