Paul Gauguin (French, 1848-1903)

La femme aux figues, 1894, third state of three (Kornfeld, 25iii/iii). Inscribed within the plate. Etching and aquatint on laid Arches paper with watermark, plate size 10 1/2 x 16 3/8 in. (26.6 x 41.5 cm), unmatted, unframed.
Condition: Mat burn margins folded under 1 3/4 inches or more outside of the plate mark, small puncture and tape/residue to upper margin.
Estimate $1,000-1,500
