Signed "Zerbe" u.r., dated, inscribed, and signed "Mar. 1949/MA ROGER/Zerbe" and
identified on labels from The Downtown Gallery, New York, and the William H. Lane Foundation, Leominster, Massachusetts, on the reverse.
Oil on Masonite, 31 x 25 in. (78.7 x 63.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Varnish inconsistencies, minor surface grime.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

There is pigment fluorescence in some of the whites and reds. The painting might benefit from cleaning.
