Georges Braque (French, 1882-1963)

L'Essor I, 1961, edition of 100, published and printed by Maeght, Paris (Vallier, 161). Signed "G. Braque" in pencil l.r., numbered "71/100" in pencil l.l., initialed within the matrix. Color lithograph on paper, image size 10 1/8 x 13 1/2 in. (25.6 x 34.2 cm), framed.
Condition: Very lightly toned near edges of sheet. Sheet size 19 x 25 1/2 in. Pencil inscription on verso: "Lessor I (Fond vert)."
Estimate $1,500-2,000
