Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973)

Portrait of Max Jacob from CHRONIQUE DES TEMPS HÉROÏQUES, 1956, edition of 60 (Bloch, 804). Signed "Picasso" in red pencil l.c., numbered "26/60" in pencil l.l., dated within the plate. Drypoint on paper, plate size 7 3/4 x 5 3/4 in. (19.5 x 14.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Mat burn, not examined out of frame.

Provenance: From a private New England collection, sold to benefit a philanthropic organization.
