Cylindrical form with applied loopwork and pink jewels on transparent and lightly iridescent body, unmarked, ht. 2 3/8 in.
Note: Founded in 1851 at La Villette, Paris, France as the Crystallerie de la Villette, in 1855 at Pantin, Paris, it was called Crystallerie de la Pantin. Later came numerous name changes including Monot et Cie, Monot, Stumpf & Cie, Monot Pere et Fils & Stumpf, then Stumpf, Touvier, Viollet & Cie. After World War I it merged with Legras & Cie. Production of opaline glass, ruby glass, Venetian glass, rock crystal, and iridescent glass called chine metallique commenced in 1878.
