The Desert Tree, alternatively titled Mexican Landscape, 1933, from the edition of 250 published by Associated American Artists, New York, 1941, (Duffy, 177). Signed "Howard Cook" in pencil l.r., identified on a label from AAA affixed to the backing. Etching and aquatint on paper, plate size 8 7/8 x 11 7/8 in., framed. Condition: Toning, water staining, soiling or mold to margins, puncture to right margin and just into image, brown paper tape to three edges on the reverse.
