Signed "Jane Peterson" l.r., numbered and titled "23..." in ink on the reverse,
identified on a gummed label affixed to the frame backing.
Gouache on gray paper, 18 x 24 in. (45.7 x 60.9 cm),framed.
Condition: Minor tears to edges, tack holes to corners, sublte rippling, fine craquelure.

N.B. The label on the frame backing gives the title as Glimpse of the Grand Canal, 1919, and states that the work was awarded an Honorable Mention at a National Association of Women Painters and Sculptors exhibition.

Small tear (1/2 in.) to lower edge, small tear at hinge u.r. corner of the reverse, subtle rippling and handling creases, staining to the reverse, tack holes to corners, hinged along top edge to window mat with linen tape and masking tape.
