Émile Pierre Bonny (French, 1913-1974),Marie, signed "Bonny" in crayon l.r., numbered "25/200" in pencil l.r., titled within the plate c.l., signed, dated, and marked within the plate "Bonny /19..." l.r., etching, plate size 17 5/8 x 12 1/8 in.; Daphne Clarke (Canadian, 20th Century),Black Flower, signed "Daphne Clarke" in pencil l.r., inscribed "artist proof" l.l., titled and inscribed on the reverse, lithograph, edition of 10, sheet size 24 9/16 x 18 in.; Fernando Zóbel (Spanish, 1924-1984),Untitled, signed "...obel" l.r., etching, plate size 3 7/8 x 5 13/16 in.; and Chaim Gross (American, 1904-1991),Untitled (1980 Flag Series), signed "Chaim Gross" in pencil l.r., with two embossed seals l.r., identified on a certificate from the World Federation of United National Associations, color lithograph, sheet size 11 x 8 1/2 in.; Bonny, Clarke, and Zóbel unmatted, Gross shrink wrapped, all unframed. Condition: Bonny with gentle toning, more pronounced at edges of sheet, minor soiling to margins; Clarke with crease to u.l. corner, soiling to edges.

N.B. Sold for the benefit of the Brooklyn Museum.

Wove paper with deckle edges and with Johannot watermark.

Fernando Zóbel was born in the Philippines of Spanish parentage. He lived in Madrid and is considered to be Spanish School.
