Two Cape Cod Views: Clam Diggers, Cape Cod, 1946, proof outside of the edition of 250 (BPL, 599); and Oyster Houses, Wellfleet, 1948-53, edition of 200 (BPL, 710). Both signed "Clare Leighton" in pencil l.r. and numbered and titled in pencil l.l. Wood engravings on paper, image sizes to 8 1/8 x 9 7/8 in. (20.5 x 25.0 cm),matted, the latter framed.
Condition: Unobtrusive toning, foxing to Diggers, Wellfleet not examined out of frame.

Both are toned and have foxing. The foxing is heavy to Clam Diggers.Clam Diggers is glues between the facing and backing mats. Oyster Houses has not been removed from its frame.
