Signed and dated "J Johns '80" in pencil l.r., numbered "73/88" in pencil l.l. Etching with aquatint in colors on paper, plate size 23 1/2 x 17 3/4 in. (59.5 x 45.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins 2 1/4 inches or more with deckled edges, gentle rippling, minor handling crease to upper margin, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $20,000-25,000

The work has not been removed from its frame, but the entire sheet is visible (it measures 29 5/5 x 22 1/4 inches) and is "floated." There are ripples visible in the upper margin near the corners and in the middle that may have been caused by hinges or foam for floating purposes.
