Andrus, answering his query about his religion and commenting that religion and politics should not be mixed and while stating his faith as a Protestant Episcopalian acknowledged a lapse "during some fifteen months when between 18 & 20 years old, I was an infidel," 8vo, (minor staining, old rust spot, good overall).
