Merchants Exchange," 22 x 22; a printed cotton fabric segment depicting images of "The Old Slater Mill," original owner Samuel Slater, printed by the "Photo-Fabric Co., New Bedford Mass.", 17 3/4 x 16 3/4 in., (toning).
Note: Built in 1793, the original Slater Mill in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was the first cotton mill in America.
