Rare Federal Mahogany Veneer Cellarette, attributed to Thomas Seymour, Boston, c. 1810-15, the hinged top with crossbanded border opens to a interior of twelve compartments, on a slightly projecting molded and cockbeaded base, and ring-turned tapering reeded legs ending in casters, old brass bail handles, brass knob appears to be original, old finish, (minor imperfections),ht. 31 1/4, wd. 21, dp. 16 in.
