Modèle et sculpture surréaliste, from LA SUITE VOLLARD, 1933, total edition of 310 (Bloch, 187). Signed "Picasso" in pencil l.r., identified on a label from the Obelisk Gallery, Boston, on the backing. Etching on paper, plate size 10 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (26.5 x 19.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Margins 1/2 inch or more, several fox marks, subtle rippling, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $4,000-6,000

Out of the frame the sheet measures 17 5/8 x 13 1/2 in. It is a laid paper with a "Vollard" watermark. There is unobtrusive mat burn and light striking. The foxing is scattered pinpoints, plus several larger spots.
