Description:

American Guitar, Gretsch Custom Shop, Corona, 2010, Model 6118TCS, by John Cruz, serial JC1513, expressly for the Pinkburst Project, with Pinkburst Project TKL custom case.
Estimate $4,250-5,000

"The Twelfth guitar. Because Fender owns Gretsch, it made this somewhat easier. Of all the guitars, it's been said that the Gretsch 'wears' the Pinkburst color more naturally than the other models. That is because the Gretsch line had always had somewhat louder colors then its competition. Loud Orange and Green among other come to mind. John Cruz was responsible once again for painting this one, his fourth guitar in the collection. As the guitar body was sourced overseas, the neck was preset with the standard Gretsch 'thumbnail' inlays."
