"The ninth guitar. Shortly after the J Bass was delivered, my doorbell rang. I wasn't expecting anything in particular that day, but here was a very large box. Much to my surprise, Jim Rosenberg had the Epiphone factory overseas make a Pinkburst Thunderbird Bass for the collection. It really is stunning!
Because the guitar was made overseas, the neck had already been added with dot inlays so the trapezoid inlays were not an option."
