Three Silver Child's Mugs, a Gorham coin example, engraved with monograms and date 1861, ht. 4 3/8; a Gorham sterling, with foliate bands, engraved with name and date 1892, ht. 2 5/8; and a Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen, early 20th century, ht. 3 in., approx. 11 troy oz.

Provenance: Eliot Family of Massachusetts.
Estimate $100-150

Gorham coin: damage to join at top of handle, and repair to join at base of handle to body; ding to base. engraved JPB to MJP 1861.
R, L & B: significant denting to base. engraved John Kennedy Marshall.
Gorham sterling: lighter denting to base. engraved Abby Adams Eliot.

Note: Abigail Adams Eliot (1892-1992),member of the prominent Unitarian families of the Eliots and the Adams. Social worker, and educator, an important figure in the nursery school movement, and founder of what is now called the Eliot-Pearson School of Tufts University.
