Condition: Mounted at a later date.

Provenance: From the collection of Austin Lamont, by family descent.

The work is faded gently but unevenly. The fading is greatest near the right edge. As described above, the albumen print has been mounted to a newer sheet. New sheet is hinged to back mat. The sheet curls up from the bottom when the window mat is opened.

Inscribed with the following inventory number, "EL 1982-14/22/J55/1788" l.c. on the reverse.
