Canal with a Large Boat and Bridge, 1650, a later impression (Bartsch/Hollstein, 236 ii/ii; Hind, 239). Signed and dated in the plate, collector's marks from Kupferstichkabinett, Berlin (Lugt, 1606),Alessandro Castagnari (Rome, 1881-1940; Lugt 86a),Count W.H.F.K. van Lepell (1755-1826; Lugt 1672),and Dr. Friedrich Andreas Lieberg (Buenos Aires, born 1898; Lugt 1681ter) on the reverse. Etching with drypoint on fine laid paper, plate size 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 in. (8.3 x 10.7 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Margins 1/8 inches or more, unobtrusive toning/soiling, some collector's marks just visible through the sheet, annotations to the reverse.
Provenance: A Rhode Island estate.
