Etruscan Revival 18kt Gold, Enamel, and Diamond Pendant, the central matte enamel panel depicting a young satyr playing the pipes, within rose-cut diamond frame, the reverse centering a fine ropework panel, applied bead a ropetwist accents, opening to reveal a compartment, dia. 1 1/2 in., unmarked, (scratches to enamel).

Note: While this pendant is apparently unmarked, the matte enamel and craftsmanship of the mount suggests that it is by Eugene Fontenay. Similar examples were sold at Skinner, June 17, 2008, sale 2413 lot 590, and December 8, 2009, sale 2487, lot 490.
