American School, Early 20th Century

Portrait of the Richard Jackson House, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Unsigned, inscribed "...Painted by Harry R. Lowd." on a label affixed to the stretcher. Oil on canvas, 12 x 16 in., in a molded mahogany frame. Condition: Good, minor surface grime.

Note: The Richard Jackson house, built around 1664, is the oldest wood frame house in the state of New Hampshire.
