After Carl Kauba (Austrian, 1865-1922)

Patinated "Naughty" Bronze Figure of a Dragonfly Nymph, Metamorphosis, formed as a dragonfly on naturalistic base accented with flower petals, with pierced metal wings, with smaller dragonfly acting as latch which raises a spring-loaded figure of a nude maiden, with applied green and reddish patination, mold incised signature "C. Kauba," and with impressed "Austria" mark, lg. 7 1/2, ht. open 8 3/4 in.

Overall very good condition; slight discoloration and uneven finish throughout; casting very muddy.
