Six Silver Matchsafes and One Silver Plate Matchsafe, late 19th/early 20th century, three American sterling: a small square with rocaille reeding, a shaped rectangular with rocaille scrolls to lid, and a scroll engraved and monogrammed to front; three English sterling: one London, 1887, with heavy plan and scroll engraved diagonal reeding, a Birmingham, 1888, with engine turning, and a Chester, 1901, engraved with foliate scrolls; with a silver plate souvenir of India or Thailand, formed as a lion's tooth with elephant to lid, monogrammed and dated 1907, lg. 1 1/4 to 3 in., approx. 4 troy oz. weighable silver.
