Condition: Wax lined, retouch, craquelure, varnish inconsistencies.

Wax lined in August 1983, according to conservator's stamp on the frame backing. Retouch to the sky in area located 7 inches in from the upper right corner and three inches down from the top. The spots measure approximately 1/2 in, 1 inch, and 1 1/2 inches across. Minor retouch along the edges of the composition covering old frame abrasions. Varnish inconsistencies in l.l. quadrant, with possible overcleaning on the left side. Stable craquelure in the sky.
