Cartier Gold Mounted Boudoir Timepiece, early 20th century, rectangular dark chocolate brown body possibly gutta percha or Bakelite, mounted with reed, patera, and leaftip engraved yellow gold edge banding, with engine-turned silvered dial, ht. 3 5/8 in.

bezel around dial a little loose. lacking approx. five tiny pins holding the mounts in place. dial with tarnish/soiling. minor light scratching to the brown body. key not present. not quaranteed to be in working order.
Base unscrews from case, but removing the base does not reveal the movement. Interior surface of base, and corner of underside of case bearing scratched numeral 586.
