Rare Martha Chase Charles Dickens Character, "Little Nell," Pawtucket, Rhode Island, c. 1920, painted stockinette head with molded and painted features, blue painted eyes, heavily brush stroked brown hair with molded braids, sateen body with original label, painted stockinette limbs, wearing original cotton dress and brown leather shoes, ht. 15.5 in., (excellent).
