Attributed to Horace Bundy (American, 1814-1883)

Portrait of a Young Girl Holding a Doll. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, c. 1835, depicting the girl wearing a blue dress and white pantalets, holding a doll wearing a red dress, with red drapery in the background, 29 1/2 x 24 1/4 in., in a period molded giltwood frame. Condition: Three patch repairs with associated retouch c.r., c.l., and l.c.
Estimate $1,200-1,800

Retouch on rt. facing upper arm area, center of drapery on left, lower edge of dress, none on face.
