Signed "G. CARDET [sic]" on the base l.c., marked "SIOT DECAUVILLE,
Fondeur, Paris" on the base, stamped "1602" along the side, on the base.
Bronze with a brown patina, height 14 3/4 in. (37.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Wear, oxidation, surface grime.

Provenance: Descended within the families of William Walters (1819-1894),and/or George Harold Edgell (1887-1954). Please refer to lot 15 for more details.
