(American Notables, 19th Century), Collection of ephemera including: Howe, Julia Ward (1819-1910), eight autograph letters/cards signed, 1897-1909, to Fannie B. Pratt, mostly concerning social engagements and lectures; Livermore, Mary, six autograph letters/cards signed, to Fannie Pratt, concerning lectures and mutual friends; Adams, John Quincy (1767-1848), autograph note signed, in the third person, [undated] an invitation to dinner (redacted name), and a clipped signature; Longfellow, Henry Wadsworth (1807-1882), signed carte-de-visite and signature on slip of paper; Webster, Daniel (1782-1852), manuscript note signed, October 31st, 1838, receipt for monies received; Holmes, Oliver W., (1809-1894), autograph note signed, April 5th, 1890, complying with an autograph request, with envelope; and notes or clipped signatures from Edward Everett, John Wallace Crawford, David Farragut, Nathaniel Banks, William Ellery Channing, Jared Sparks and William Cullen Bryant. Together with a group of family papers, photographs and a 19th century mahogany document box.
