Jones, Prescot, England, late 19th century, 7 3/4 in. dia. six-spoke hand wheel supported by a scrolled leg, brass headstock and holders mounted in a yoke frame stamped J. & T. Jones Prescot, 4 1/4 in. slotted bed, tool rest and compound slide also stamped with same inscription, lg. 14, ht. 9 1/2 in.

Compound slide probably by association, surface rust on steel components, lacquered surface discolored.
