Each panel signed and dated "ROTH 52" l.r. or l.c. respectively, also signed and
inscribed "...ONE OF PAIR..." on the reverse.
Oil on Masonite, each panel 48 x 24 in. (121.9 x 61.0 cm),framed.
Condition: Surface grime, minor surface abrasions and losses, nailed and screwed to strainers.

Provenance: Estate of the artist.

N.B. The present work relates to a work by Roth exhibited at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum exhibition, "Younger American Painters" [May 12 to July 25, 1954].

Masonite is nailed and screwed through the composition to strainer bars along the perimeter, no additonal condition issues to report.
