Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, New England, c. 1815, with flat mahogany frames enclosing reverse-painted glasses, 7 3/4 in. dia. dial faintly marked Warranted..., eight-day time only movement with "T-bridge" suspension, through bolts to attach movement in case, pendulum and lead weight, ht. 34 1/4 in.

Both glasses are repainted, finials are added, holes through bottom board indicate that it once had a pedestal.
