Kuniyoshi:Walking through Snow at Tsukahara on Sado Island, from the Illustrated Biography of the Priest Nichiren, a later, probably late 19th century, impression of the state with horizon line, without title and publisher's marks and from re-cut and/or newly cut blocks, (very good impression, color, and condition, with slight toning and repair in lower margin),framed.

Note: Adachi Toyohisa with the Adachi Institute of Prints published a facsimile, c. 1925, of the original edition (c. 1835-36) of this print on a heavy, modern paper, watermarked T. Adachi. Although not nearly as rare as the original, later impressions like the one in this sale, and even the Adachi facsimile, are seen very infrequently.
