Lot of Two Works: The Old Homestead., and American Homestead Summer., undated and 1868, respectively (Conningham, 4562, 178). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Lithographs with hand-coloring on paper, sheet sizes 14 3/8 x 18 3/4, 10 1/8 x 14 in., respectively. Condition: The Old Homestead., medium folio, margins of 1 3/8 in. or more, toning, u.r. and l.l. corners repaired, light margin stains, repair to margin edge c.r., housed in a contemporary bird's-eye maple frame; American Homestead Summer., small folio, margins of 1/2 in. or more, toning, minor foxing, housed in a period mahogany frame.

Note: American Homestead Summer ranks no. 39 in the New Best 50, small folio.
