Watercolor on paper, with ink inscriptions of the vital statistics of three generations of the Wales and Penninman families residing in Braintree, Massachusetts, with an arched banner above inscribed "Let Union and Peace Make Discord Cease," over a ship at sea, a figure of Hope and house and tree and two columns with figures of liberty, sheaves of wheat, and a rose flanking the inscriptions, (repairs, toning),18 1/2 x 29 1/4 in., in a molded wood frame.
