Chippendale Carved Maple Chest-on-Chest, attributed to Moses Hazen, Weare, New Hampshire, late 18th century, the bottom-drawer with three-drawer facade centering fan and pinwheel carving , all on carved claw-and-ball feet with shaped returns and central pendant, replaced brasses, mid-molding replaced, (refinished),ht. 77, wd. 38 1/2, dp. 19 1/4 in.
Note: Moses Hazen (1776-1837) moved to Weare, New Hampshire after the Revolution.
