Low Tide, 1915, published state of 35 plus proofs (Paff, 69). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l., numbered "24/35" in pencil l.r., identified on a label from Kennedy & Co., New York, on the reverse. Drypoint on laid paper, plate size 6 3/4 x 10 3/4 in. (17.0 x 27.2 cm), framed (without glass).
Condition: Margins over 1 inch, toning, foxing, light struck, mat burn, not examined out of frame.
The work is laid down onto board. Adhesive and losses along the top edge (from a once glued front mat). The sheet measures 12 1/2 x 16 1/2 in. There is scattered foxing thoughout (much within the margins). There is some mild staining and soiling in the margins. The work is toned (almost to the color of latte).
