Portrait Miniature of a Gentleman, attributed to Mrs. Moses B. Russell (1809-1854),North Andover, Massachusetts, circa 1840, watercolor on ivory, depicting a bust-length oval portrait of the young man facing left wearing a black jacket, white shirt and black cravat, 2 3/8 x 2 in., in an oval gilt-metal pendant frame with a small compartment on the reverse containing a bow-knotted lock of hair. Condition: Minor paint loss.
