Portrait Miniature of a Woman in a Blue Empire Dress, circa 1810, the subject identified as Mrs. Mary Ford on the reverse, watercolor on paperboard, depicting a bust-length oval portrait of the woman facing left wearing a blue dress, with white lace trim, and beaded coral and gold necklaces, 2 7/8 x 2 1/4 in., mounted in a gilt molded papier-mache frame. Condition: Very good.
