Note: Eric Gill was a sculptor, graphic artist, and type designer. His accomplishments include designing book covers and fonts for several publishers, with his son-in-law, founding his own hand-press that printed luxury bibliophile editions, designing a postage stamp, being named Royal Designer for Industry in 1936, and producing stone tablets for the League of Nations building in Geneva.
