Printed "COTTON CENTENARY" Flag , Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 1890, manufactured by Dunnel Manufacturing Company for distribution at the Cotton Centenary of 1890 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Samuel Slater's cotton spinning machinery at Old Slater Mill, printed in red, white, blue, and brown with three repeating images of "Samuel Slater," "Old Slater Mill," in oval reserves with laurel leaf surrounds, on a red, white, and blue striped ground with red and white stars, mounted on a wooden pole, (wear, fading),flag 50 x 32 in., pole lg. 74 in.
