Stellwagen/Frigate UStates," watercolor on paper laid down on paper, showing various sailing vessels offshore, with buildings and hills beyond, inscribed along lower edge "Trieste. May 1838," 5 1/4 x 10, unframed, (small loss u.c., paper and glue residue on reverse); the second signed with initials "HSS" l.l., watercolor on paper in two pieces, showing sailing vessels and a town beyond, inscribed along lower edge"Corfu. May 1838," 5 1/4 x 15 1/4 in., unframed, (glue remnants on reverse, otherwise good).
