Federal Mahogany and Gilt Gesso Presentation Banjo Timepiece, probably Massachusetts, early 19th century, the gilt acorn finial above a door with molded brass bezel opening to a painted metal dial inscribed "Aaron Willard", and brass eight day weight-driven movement, above the trapezoidal throat and pendulum box bordered by gilt spiral moldings, all flanked by pierced brass side pieces, throat tablet appears original, (restored),ht. 33 1/2 in.
