Bakelite Landscape Plaque, Roger Moure, c. 1930s, the laminate design in yellow and green, 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 in.Note: Lots 421 to 543 come from the collection of Corinne "Corky" Davidov. Ms. Davidov co-authored "The Bakelite Jewelry Book" (1988) with Ginny Redington Dawes. Many lots in the collection are pictured in the book. Ms. Davidov also co-authored "The Victorian Jewelry Book" (1990) and is currently a writer for Lucire, a global fashion magazine. This collection was amassed over twenty years beginning with a few pieces owned by her mother. Note: This plaque was given to Ms. Davidov by the artist. It is pictured on p. 115 of "The Bakelite Jewelry Book".
