Painted, Carved, and Glazed Poplar Step-back Cupboard, Pennsylvania, early 19th century, the top section with flat-molded cornice above two hinged doors centering three glass lights with molded muntons flanked by roundels of concentric rings and shaped reeded panels with cockbeaded surrounds all on molded arch, the projecting lower case of two long drawers alternating with three short drawers and two cupboard doors with raised panels centering a reeded panel with conforming roundel, all on molded bracket feet, overall red paint with freehand black designs highlighted by white, the doors on the lower section with yellow painted hearts with scallop and line borders, (imperfections and restoration),ht. 91 1/2, wd. 66, dp. 23 1/2 in.
