View of Mount Washington. Unsigned. Circa 1875. Oil on canvas, depicting the view from a country road with cottages, figures, and farm animals in the foreground, sight size 11 1/2 x 19 1/2 in., in a gilt gesso frame with scrolled foliage. Condition: Canvas stabilized on the reverse, scattered areas of retouch.

Note: Included in the lot are some photocopied notes and information relating to the cleaning of the painting, its close resemblance to another painting by F.E. Wright, and two copies of a print with a similar view entitled Mount Washington from the Coway Road.
