La Femme aux Figues, 1894-95, published in GERMINAL 1899 or a posthumous printing (Boyle-Turner, G.5a or b). Inscribed in the plate. Etching with soft ground on cream laid paper, plate size 10 1/2 x 16 1/4 in. (26.7 x 41.3 cm),framed.
Condition: Mat and other staining, margins 2 1/2 inches or more.

N.B. Though originally published in 1899 as a work by Gauguin, this print has subsequently been described as a work solely by Seguin and even as a collaboration between the two. Present scholarship leans towards a work by Gauguin, with possible technical assistance from Seguin.
