Farmstead Scene. 1853. Publisher identified by inscription in the matrix. Lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, depicting a farmer with his son and a pair of oxen plowing a field, with a house and barn and a horse and buggy traveling on the road in the distance, sheet size 17 3/8 x 24 3/8 in., in a molded giltwood frame with vestiges of original label "Framed and Sold by Nathaniel Currier..." affixed to the reverse. Condition: Toning, (not examined out of frame).
